Over 20 years of TEFL teaching experience with children of all ages, covering test preparation, vocabulary, and grammar. Lessons are engaging and interactive, using play, conversation, and creativity in both classroom and online settings, focused on clear and natural American English.

Teaching English as A Foreign Language

I spent 17 wonderful years in Spain teaching English, and along the way I learned just as much from my students as they learned from me. From play sessions with babies and toddlers to helping children and teenagers grow in confidence with speaking, reading, vocabulary, grammar, and test preparation, teaching has always been something close to my heart.

Over the years, I have learned that every child learns differently, especially through literature, stories, creativity, and imagination. This is one of the reasons I love incorporating many of my own books, stories, and workbooks into my classes to help make learning more natural, engaging, and meaningful. I believe that patience, encouragement, creativity, and simply trying your best can make all the difference. My hope is to continue creating a warm and positive space where children feel confident, inspired, and excited to learn English joyfully and naturally.

Pasé 17 maravillosos años en España enseñando inglés, y durante ese tiempo aprendí tanto de mis alumnos como ellos aprendieron de mí. Desde sesiones de juego con bebés y niños pequeños hasta ayudar a niños y adolescentes a desarrollar su confianza al hablar, leer, ampliar vocabulario, mejorar la gramática y prepararse para exámenes, la enseñanza siempre ha ocupado un lugar muy especial en mi corazón.

A lo largo de los años, he aprendido que cada niño aprende de manera diferente, especialmente a través de la literatura, los cuentos, la creatividad y la imaginación. Por eso me encanta incorporar muchos de mis propios libros, historias y cuadernos de actividades en mis clases, para que el aprendizaje sea más natural, atractivo y significativo. Creo que la paciencia, el ánimo, la creatividad y el simple hecho de esforzarse al máximo pueden marcar una gran diferencia. Mi deseo es seguir creando un ambiente cálido y positivo donde los niños se sientan seguros, inspirados y motivados para aprender inglés de una forma alegre y natural.
