About

My name is Ms. Dahlia, and I am an early childhood and elementary teacher with many years of experience working with young children in English and early reading development.
Throughout my teaching journey, I have worked with children from diverse backgrounds, supporting early literacy through stories, songs, and meaningful play. My focus has always been on helping children feel safe, confident, and encouraged as they begin to read and understand language.
The idea for Ms. Dahlia’s Reading Station was born from a simple but important reality: not every child has someone who can sit with them and read stories aloud. Through online read aloud sessions, I wanted to create a comforting and consistent reading presence for children who need it, whether at home, in classrooms, or during quiet moments of the day.
In addition to teaching, I am also a children’s book author. I write stories for young readers that are rooted in Christian morals such as kindness, faith, courage, honesty, and love for others. These values are gently woven into the stories in an age appropriate and accessible way.
Ms. Dahlia’s Reading Station is more than a reading space. It is a place where children are seen, heard, and nurtured through stories, language, and meaningful messages that help shape both literacy and character.
